CONCUSSED

A series of paintings and ink drawings inspired by my journey with short-term memory loss
as a result of an impactful concussion.

After experiencing a severe concussion, my work became a therapeutic practice for holding onto memories I’d otherwise forget, as well as an opportunity to document and archive important parts of my life. These selected ink drawings and paintings centered universal themes of childhood nostalgia, lineage, and introspection. [2014]
